After searching for about ten minutes, I finally found that one old videogame about mercilessly murdering thousands of zombies—sitting on the couch with my dad, playing this to death, getting slightly farther every time. I was watching some gameplay videos to make sure this was the right one, and I was hit with a wave of nostalgia by the low graphics, the near-shoddy acting, and the stiff animation that I remember so clearly and so fondly. Overall, it's an okay game, but I wouldn't turn down the opportunity to play it again, if only for the memories.

Chowder is your classic cartoon that gives children a chance to slip away from the stresses of everyday life. There are no lessons to be learned, and there's no forcing kids to think or act a certain way based on individual morals. It's goofy and immature of course, but all cartoons are. That's how they're supposed to be. Not everything has to have some grand storyline or plot twist or hidden meaning to be a great experience. Chowder is and will always be a show from my childhood—lovable characters and pretty colors with their interesting dynamics in how they interact with both each other and their world. It has some good jokes here and there with a few heartfelt moments sprinkled in. The episodes will never get old, no matter how many times you've watched them.
