Enjoyed the film and will go and see it again. The good: Cool use of the force, kylo was great, Rey was great, palp is the greatest, the overall story (not the specifics, see below), Po and Fin comedy touches, cgi was good, animatronics brilliant. Locations: Sith home world! The bad: Tried to get far too much crammed into one film, trying to make soo many distinct characters work in one movie J.J. DID somehow pull off in my opinion but the extra story plot lines such as the dagger to find the triangle to find the blah blah blah was just too much, felt clunky and this ain’t tomb raider. Rescuing chewy could have been a whole movie and it was crammed into a couple of minutes (it seemed) so leave it out. Final order navy out of nowhere???? Seriously?!?! Also more of the sith home world! Why wet our appetites if this is the last film? Overall 4 star review as I’m a massive SW fan so being generous :) Thanks to cast and crew for excellent efforts, writing and editing needed more work though.
