This movie was quite fetch. If you aren't a fan of musicals, this may not be your cup of tea. It had the messaging of the first movie and the iconic comedic scenes. It also included some of the songs from the musical and switched them up a bit to be more accesible to a wider audience. In an interview, Tina and Renee (who plays Regina) said they wanted the music to be something you could find on spotify. Personally, I loved the cast. Some of the songs I liked more in the musical-but art is subjective and taste is diverse. I recommend seeing it for yourself before listening to those who didn’t vibe with the movie, because maybe you will!… and I don’t want you to miss out(;
