I love reading and every year I set a challenge for myself on how many books I can read for 365 days. For the 62nd book I read in 2020, in one day I finished my mother's heartfelt masterpiece. I say heartfelt because within the 8 chapters and 84 pages I learned so many new things about my Queen.
Did I get emotional reading it? You best believe it. I choked up on a few pages, not wanting my younger brothers to see me shed a single tear. As I grew up watching her and my dad taking care of my brothers and I, I always knew my mother was a warrior. But reading this book confirmed it even more. This book shows everything what she went through even before having me, her oldest son.
Behind every great daughter, daughter of Christ, wife, mother, pastor, teacher, and best friend there's a powerful story yet untold. And when it gets told, you want to hold them forever and learn how they came out of every battle in their life with a smile on their face.
Great work Nena! Definitely 5 out 5 from me for your first book. Definitely can't wait for the second one to come out! Dios te Bendiga.
