I still remember when I started watching it last year, around the same time now. I was feeling low and decided to distract myself with a show. When this popped up, I was rather surprised because first of all, I had never heard of a show that was named on the devil itself (I still do not know if there are any, I didn't search). Secondly, most fantasy or biblical shows focus on fight against the devil. And so I was intrigued and started watching. And I remember watching till the next morning. I didn't just the love the fact that the show had such great characters, but also that even though they are celestial beings, they had problems similar to ours. The most I connected to was Lucifer himself. I understood his pain, his guilt, his trauma and most of all understood his need for his father's love and acceptance. The need to know that he loves, that he cares for you and that he is sorry for the mistakes he has made. I understand that greatly because I understand its importance in my own life. I still remember, I cried when his father said, " I love you son. And I am proud of the person you have become". The point here is that the show may seem far-fetched to some people and some might be offended by it and I am not asking someone to believe it but sometimes it is good to see the world in a different light and also it is good to relate with something. Gives you closure. That's all, I rate the show 5 stars as you can see above and that's all.
