The hero is written as if star power alone can carry a film, but here it only amplifies the cringe. The heroine? Reduced to a prop with zero depth, existing only for songs and glamour shots. Speaking of songs—what an assault on the ears. Each track feels like it was cooked up in five minutes with leftover beats from a rejected ad jingle. The background score tries so hard to create drama, but instead makes every scene unintentionally hilarious. Comedy? Forced. Action? Outdated. Emotions? Non-existent. By interval, the audience is left wondering whether to cry, laugh, or simply walk out. Visually, the movie looks cheap despite its inflated budget. Over-the-top VFX and tacky set pieces make it seem like a parody of itself. Even the editing is so choppy that you’re left dizzy, not thrilled. Maaman – A Masterclass in Wasting Time If there was ever a film that tested your patience more than a long queue at a government office, Maaman would be it. Worst movie ever. Best for Director Siva. Director Siva should stop making film it would be helful for Tamil Cinema more and save the Tamil Movie Audience.

3 minutes doucmentary story was scripted for 3 hours. Director wasted the huge producer's money. If this movie comes to theatre means we will walk out from theatre in between the movie. But, movie released on OTT. So, watched the movie. In many areas script was looks unreal and director pushing the story in to some other. The climax scenes also not make any sense. I'm one of the VJS anna fan that is the reason i subscribed that OTT also. But, director wasted the VJS talent in this movie. Watching this movie nearly three hours is waste of time.
