The so called professional critics have clearly lost their edge during this pandemic; to lambaste this masterpiece of a superhero movie sequel is unforgivable. I was blown away by the hidden message behind the actions of each character. Gal Gadot surpassed herself in the sequel and looked incredible throughout but most importantly her charm, empathy and wit she brings to wonder women made this sequel a wonderful watch. Cheetah and MaxLord were the perfect type of villains; instead of just been plain evil it was refreshing to see what drove them to carry out their wicked deeds. The film quite beautifully portrays their transformation back to the better version of themselves. Max Lord and cheetahs characters were engaging and relatable and the film’s portrayal of the inner conflicts human beings have and the consequences that follow, was superbly written. In times like these this is a film along with Disney’s Soul that makes one reflect on what our world and lives could be and not what it is
