I've played it solo and with mates and the gameplay is equally engaging and immersive in both the cases. The overall grim environment of the game, portrays the aftermath of a virus outbreak perfectly and what better time to play this game, than an already existent pandemic. The overall experience was good, whether solo or with friends, the only problem I had with the game was the frequent unavailability of servers or poor connections to the host server though everything is doing well on my side. As far as game mechanics are concerned, the typical RPG and MMO styled gameplay sometimes make it frustrating to play through the interesting parts of the game, like the dark zone. My overall experience with the game has been satisfactory and appealing, thus would recommend to everyone.
