Dear Stan Grant,
In late November last year, I had left an immature and impolite review, on a few of your well-known books. I'd like to apologise for my immaturity from the past, as I left those horrible reviews on your books out of anger because you didn't show up to our zoom meeting one time. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Talking to My Country; your book had a significant impact on many of my friends and I's perceptions of racism towards Indigenous Australians, we really did not acknowledge how serious the issue was. Of course we did know about how serious Racism is across the globe, yet we didn't have knowledge about how harsh the history of Indigenous Australians was, besides the stolen generation and many more significant events that had led to the rights of
Indigenous Australians. Additionally, I really enjoyed your documentary, The Australian Dream.
So I'm sorry Stan Grant. I never meant to leave those harsh comments on your books, your books are fantastic. You continue to be the best activist for Indigenous Australians and an excellent role model for younger children. Stay Safe in this Pandemic!
