Every band that has been around as long as DMB, allows for the diehard fans (who have been listening to them from the very beginning), to evolve right along with them. A previous reviewer bemoaned the loss of the 'Lover lay down' type Dave song, but realistically, that's not who he or the band is anymore. And, as far as I'm concerned, that's perfectly fine. Trying to copy and recreate your own genius would result in total failure. Instead, I like the fact they remain fresh and adventurous because it has resulted in yet another brilliant collection of songs from a band made up of some of the most eclectic and dedicated performers the world has ever known. The album is an amazing reflection of their journey and is strong from beginning to end. You may be asking if I'm capable of being critical of anything DMB releases, and I promise you, I have been, but this is an incredibly produced album with barely a single weakness. Bravo.
