Mainly posting to tell people that MysteryManuk’s reviews are NOT accurate at all. Both of those reviews discuss totally different plot lines, one about going to camp and one about space travel; neither of which have anything to do with the actual plot of Asteroid City.
As for the movie, sets were fun. Loved the alien. Laughed some. Not a horrible movie. Not an awesome movie either.
