Let me get one thing straght before I start this review. I love overlord, I love the books and have been a huge fan for a long time. So it breaks my heart to say this but this movie was trash. I can think of two to five scenes that were decent. So I am going to break this down into three sections. No spoilers of course. The plot, this movie felt like I was watching a powerpoint presentation. The main issue is that they tried to fit two books into one movie. They clearly did not have the time to explain anything or even rest on certain scenes. I speak about this movie not as someone who is comparing to the books. But as someone who likes movies. The pacing was so atrocious. The action scene are nothing to look at really. There was like one or two scenes that were actually good. Thats about it so dont watch it if you think you can turn of your brain and enjoy some good action. Because you wont. The comedy this is the only reason why this movie even gets a one star from me. There was some genuine funny moments that had me laughing. Then there was some scenes that I wanted the character to shut up. Overall you will get a laugh here and there. I genunily dont reccomend this movie at least not in dub. This movie was a waste of my time and I genunily want a refund of my money and time. Plus they did my girl Neia dirty this movie.
