I had to force myself to finish it. Sorry, I don’t like the main character, Jack. She’s like the heroines in the horror movies. Really, please don’t be stupid. Yet she was for too long.

Too subtle too long.
I shouldn’t have to read the preview blurb to try to understand that this is a flashback with videos of a girl’s last time with her dad.
Maybe bring adult Sophie into the film sooner? Establish a premise?
