I’m blessed to have read this book. A book ahead of its time about the art of cultivating authentic and intimate relationships through transparency of expressing oneself. It also helped me see a male’s perspective in relationships, the difference between being “hot” verses being beautiful; which allowed me to heal some of my wounded views of reality. I appreciate Donald Miller’s vulnerability and admiration for his wife. It’s a book of hope and the importance of being vulnerable in relationships no matter how challenging it maybe. It is a valuable tool to gain more awareness navigating relationships on the basis of integrity and treating your partner as an equal. Seeing relationships as a safe haven rather than a battlefield. The importance of being yourself rather being what you think they want you to be.
