Shivaun Nestor

Written and produced in the best Hollywood tradition. The plot is a little to easy to get from the beginning, but Viola Davis’ performance is both emotionally deep and restrained and the young woman who plays rer daughter is also really good. The women warriors, mostly, based on the credits, African, are so dignified, strong, absolutely beautiful. I don’t usually enjoy battle scenes but did in this film. Would see it again, and possibly even a third time.
