don’t get me wrong, i did like the way they faked a documentary for a raw true crime feel, but the execution of it was weak. it almost felt like i was watching “the office” or “brooklyn nine-nine”, specifically the latter because of the shoddy forensic work. if you know anything about forensics, you know about the csi effect…this movie is eaten up by it. i came to this movie expecting to not get any sleep, but i found it weak. i’ve seen worse at twelve. overall, this is an interesting movie for those who study crime, but a disappointment for a horror lover.
