This horror, true to the book, is much more in the psychological vein rather than jump scares (though there are a few truly frightening scenes dispersed throughout the episodes) but pulls it off exceptionally, meaning that it holds up against its predecessor, just in a different way.
If you're looking to be terrified out of your wits in the same manner that The Haunting of Hill House accomplished, you won't find such scares here.
Talk About luke who became a fineass thief here. Well! Yeah at first i was a bit shocked to see his completely different side thn he fell in love with Rebecca which was apparently a definition of wrong love to some like dani and jamie but to be more honest their chemistry comes first in my favourite list even before chemistry shared by jamie and dani.
