I didn't read reviews before hand and I wish I did. While watching I thought I was the only one who was fed up with the wokeness of it and the woman getting away with despicable things because she was wronged and somehow there are lesbian love scenes with a character that wasn't important to the plot whatsoever...like it HAD to have a gay love scene in it because it's 2023. Someone wrote it sounds like the so called American setting was written by a brit and I literally thought that very thing, listening to the detectives talk. Anyway. This just reconfirmed why I don't watch shows made in the last 5 years and why I HATE modern (2020-2023) movies and films.
