DEI in a medieval, fantasy setting, what else can one say?

It looks that JJ made some effort to try and fix whatever was left of the trilogy, but it was a very hard job. Movie feels like a cross between Star Wars, Twilight and Harry Potter, and looks like a Marvel flick. Very awkward pacing, as plot is just characters going form one place to another, very brief visits and even new and old characters and planets get, at most, five minutes screentime. Of course Rey is vindicated and becomes potentially the most powerful Jedi that ever lived. Some scenes are blatant rip-off (sorry, homages) of OT scenes. This feels like when you are trying to clean some mess in your report or homework, and end up tearing the sheet of paper, then putting it back together with scotch tape. It will get you a pass, but not very far in life. Just watch the ending, you'll understand it all

It's Disney Star Wars, need I say more?

Full of D.E.I., D i v e r s i t y and w h i t e m a l e h a t i ng. Too bad, it was quite fun and entertaining.

Creators haven't learned that we do NOT want properties "subverting expectations".

Disclaimer, I didn't read the books. That's what I got Netflix for. This show is a slow, slow burner, it takes 2 or 3 episodes to really get who is who, too many confusing names, and situations. Stuff begins to happen on episode 5, and still, not very good. The Heist scene is some of the best in the series but there is so much filler, sometimes it feels like a soap opera or young adult drama set in a somewhat fantasy environment. And I say somewhat because it never becomes clear what are the rules of this world and where they are situated. It has obvious fantasy and magic elements, mixed with real world, 1920's and 1930's situations and items. Some people wear glasses, ride trains and fire machine guns. Then others, segregated, have powers and are hunted down. Sounds good but there are just too many characters to care for. Found myself fast forwarding some scenes and not missing anything. I won't be watching season 2.

Someone wrote on another review "this is the worst movie I've ever seen" pretty sure that statement is a lie, and is based on the hate for either James, Schneider or Sandler. This might not be Oscar material (not woke enough) but it is a great feel good movie, like they used to make, remember? Admirable effort especially coming from ultra woke Netflix. While we all might think, that this being a Happy Madison production, it is going to be stupid humor and funny voices (Sandler's) this is a refreshing take on a real-world sports scandal. It's obviously been adapted to a light comedy format, with enough drama to make you care. It has a great message about family and reconnecting and I guess it is getting all the hate because a white male is shown as being able to be a good father, and role model, after patching up thing with his son. Give it a try if you are not from the woke crowd.

One of the best sci-fi fantasy shows out there, ever. All relatable characters, high action, drama, emotion, and of course campiness, which no sci-fi tv show can be without. All the men want to be John Chriction and all the ladies wanna do him. He's a great leading man, masterfully played by Ben Browder. The crew, at least on the first two seasons, is the consumate RPG crew (the hero, the warrior, the amazon, the mystic) and this great mix is what propels the show forward. It seems to be experiencing a revival due to being on Amazon Prime Video, so go watch it, now!

Thought Bill was one of the good guys, he stood up for Gina Carano, but nope, in this one he goes against people who chose not to get the jab, and those that "do their own research"; which would be OK had he been funny, but the "jokes"; were terrible, then all the guests from which the only good ones as usual were Ross and Attell, and they were kinda weak too. Joe Bartnick and Ian Edwards had good moments. Sadly none of the others could save this, and the women, oh boy, the one just talking about her private parts, just awful....
