The hate this movie is getting by moms who took their toddlers and preschoolers and younger elementary kids to see it is just wrong on so many levels. This movie has a rating of PG-13. Meaning - it is not meant for children under 13 to see this without parent supervision or ya know... parents seeing it first!!! Stop getting mad about a movie not being appropriate for children that was literally meant for teens and adults. The warning is actually in the rating! I thought this movie was hysterical! Mattel poked fun at themselves the entire movie and it was fabulous! Very cheesy and silly and an all around a Grande night out with your girlfriends! Again, it's not for little children. But love or hate Barbie, it was a lot of fun! Also, for the bible belt states up in arms over this movie claiming it's ignoring pro-family and biblical values.. GOOD GRIEF! It's a movie that pokes fun at it's franchise and leaves you feeling good about being a girl... FOR ONCE! Of course those states would have problems with that. Heaven forbid a girl not submit to a man (iykyk) It was NEVER advertised as a Christian movie. So why you so mad? It's cute. Go see it! It's worth the laughs and a nice time out with friends.
