And I thought it was just me, but it's pretty clear here that CBS Mornings has dropped in popularity and credibility. Today is December 27 and the usual three are not even there. However, Vlad is in the driver's seat, and he and Michelle Miller are so loud and obnoxious around each other (poor Jamie Yuccas). Who can laugh louder, who can talk over one another faster and then become the center of attention? (Just had to mute them again!) It's not a cocktail party people. It's really no different when the regular three are there, with Gayle King commandeering most conversations...but they're all guilty. The Steals and Deals segment is not worthy of CBS IMO; the constant Hollywood coverage is obnoxious; and thanks to Nate, just too much football references. And please explain to me why the new Color Purple received more than a week of over-the-top coverage on a morning news program? I left ABC because of this kind of morning banter, and looks like I'll be doing the same with CBS.

Really enjoyed this movie. I don't think it was meant to be a mafia story, so much as a family story. Recommended.

I've always been a CBS fan as I believe the reporters and hosts are professional in their demeanor and presentation. Recently however, the weekly morning news has become a little too social. I often mute the TV because of the incessant banter and the talking over or interrupting one another to the point where you feel like you're eavesdropping on a private conversation. Please. Unfortunately ABC and NBC are the same. Guess I'll have to go to CNN.
