Watched Gruen tonight, Wednesday Oct. 9 and would like to offer a few suggestions. Please don't discount my opinions as I have a broad range of experience working as a proof reader, copywriter, creative director and journalist. First, I can't stand Todd Sampson's designer stubble and to a lesser extent, Russel Howcroft's. What's wrong with being clean-shaven and removing white or salt and pepper unsightly whiskers? I have to tape the show and fast-forward when Todd speaks. There are enough derros around without having to watch highly intelligent people who look like them. Second, the two women on Wednesday's show, need advice on how to dress and could certainly improve their appearance, with black or coloured plastic spectacle frames, as could our PM, Scott Morrison. One final criticism, concerns Wil Anderson's pronunciation of the word "asterisk". It is NOT "asteriks". I would be glad to freely come to the studio and offer advice at any time. Thank you.

Extremely boring film with no obvious plot. It wanders aimlessly from one scene to another with no known meaning. Actress who plays Emma says some of her lines as though she is reading them. There were only 16 people in the audience at the 6.30 session at The Palace Balwyn, which says a lot about the film's popularity. The most enjoyable part of the film was the piano playing and costumes. The only time we laughed, was when they said the line: "We are going to Box Hill tomorrow". Probably, because nobody here goes to Box Hill at the moment! Save your money and choose another film.
