as a wes anderson enthusiast, this was a beautifully made film. the cinematography was spectacular and the stories shared were all wonderfully written and displayed. if you are not familiar with his works, i would not recommend this to you. it may be a lot to consume at once and you might be quite confused—like my mother was. it was a bit fast paced, but i believe the stories of each writer were laid out well and showed what the french dispatch was and who the talents behind the newspaper were. will definitely watch again to unpack more.
