They,re Super hero/villains in the real world. I read reviews saying they didn't like the ending mostly because everyone does. Well that's what real people do, they die. This is a self contained 3 part story and the supers got the last laugh on those who believe that if your different , better or special you must be stopped or made to believe you are nothing special.
