Loved the book (one of my favorites), and have read it several times. Also really enjoyed the original mini-series. But this one, not so much. I am very seldom disappointed with ANYTHING that Stephen King does, but this one didn't do the author, the book, or its predecessor any justice. The changes didn't make the story better (not at all), and I truly don't understand why any changes were made at all. Should have just left well enough alone...
