The only thing that got me perked up for the 1st few chapters was the narrator of the novel was "Death" and i thought it would be a promising read. As you read along it gets into the very boring life of Liesel, her adopted parents and her very mundane life on Himmel street during WW 2. The book meanders into nothingness for the next 350 pages. She stole just about 4 books so the title also had me thinking....why? All in all a waste of time.
