As a skater myself this game ain’t it. Sim or not the controls are dumb. I play skate games to do the stuff I can’t in real life. Not struggle to do stuff in game that I can already do IRL. From a simple Ollie onto a rail to any complex trick the controls are just dumb. Wish they would’ve put more thought into this game. Can’t wait for the new “Skate”. “Session” really was a huge let down. Also the turning with the bumpers makes it to where you can’t really align things correctly. Also the getting on and off you board is instant (like teleporting the board to your feet instant), no putting the board down or running starts. All in all bad experience with the game. Tried to progress but the rag doll physics are the most annoying part of the game. If I could give it no stars I would. Don’t recommend if you just want to chill and play a skateboarding game. Sucks you either get this (extremely complicated skating) or THPS (extremely arcade skating) no in-between.
