One reviewer wrote, "The movie looks like it was lit by lava lamps, scored on Moog synthesizers, written between bong hits and acted underwater." And YEAH, pretty much. At various points in the film I was reminded of early David Cronenberg, the movie "Begotten," and the movie "Cube." It's a pretty slow film, but if you have the patience, it kind of gets under your skin. One very cool psychedelic trip sequence was almost worth the price of admission, but for the most part it didn't seem to add up to much.
