Shrek 4, where do I even begin? All around cinematic masterpiece, a great plot, great voice acting, great everything. This movie is like a friend, one that would help you fight your demons. When no one else was there, Shrek Forever After was there. Every day, every night, every week. It is a cinematic masterpiece. This captured the plot perfectly, and gave a message to the viewer that will be extremely valuable down the road. I do not believe there was anything wrong about this movie. I believe for a fourth movie, they nailed it. That first hour of the movie will be a level of joy that I will never have again. I spent about 3 hours speaking about this movie with my friends, and we all agreed that this movie shows that we need to cherish the ones closest to us. I will say this, though, that I have a major problem with the ending. I know what they were trying to do, and the ending emphasizes the intended message, but I would have loved a plot twist at the end, but instead of Fiona saving Shrek(which the inverse happened in the first movie), they should have had Shrek disappear, and have him witness Fiona marrying Rumplestilskin. Maybe keeping Shrek alive opens up a possibility for a fifth movie? Man, if it is anything like the first hour of Shrek Forever After, I will be very happy to watch in theaters.
