I seldom leave reviews for games however CS has been apart of my life for many years so I feel the need to rant. Take from this what you will. I cannot for the life of me understand why CS2 couldn't of been the new graphics, the new util, the new maps with added 128 tick servers and aggressive anti-cheat like seen with Valorant. I feel like that's all they had to do. The new sub-tick system is not good at all, 128 tick faceit servers was the smoothest CS ever felt and they got rid of it. Hitreg is SO random I can be clicking at heads with no results but if I shoot to the left or right of the head it connects. I play on extremely low ping usually as low as 1 and I'm still dying before I even see player models as I get swung by an enemy, peakers advantage is outrageous and you have to hold the most absurd off angles to even have a chance at a push most of the time. I've never had more 82 in 3 tags in my life and I'm usually top fragging servers with my damage yet still sometimes as low as 5 kills off the guy with the most kills on my team and I don't know if it's the hitreg or if it's how bad the spraying in the game is. I am paranoid every game that there's a cheater as I've encountered SO many that don't even try hide it and every game has brand new or bought accounts that are much lower in rank than me who always seem to have the most incredible timing and knowledge I've ever seen. The new leaderboards are filled with people with 90% + winrates and hundreds of games won. 128 tick servers. Good anti cheat. that's all they needed to do. The worst part is I will keep playing this game non stop. 2/5.
