The characters fell flat on this movie. Ursula was the only real redeeming character and that’s not saying much. The one playing as Ariel was absolutely horrible. Nevermind the fact that she looks absolutely nothing like Ariel, her singing was obviously auto-tuned so her singing talent is lacking even more than her acting skills. I do not recommend this movie at all. As has been the theme lately, Disney fails again after trying to push their work agenda and blackwash a traditional white character. When are they going to make a live action Princess and the Frog and cast a white person as Tiana? Yeah I’m sure that will never happen.
