I am not much of a zombie film or TV show buff because this genre is so predictable and most become silly to watch. The two exceptions I know of are World War Z with Brad Pitt that really set standards for all other zombie films to emulate. The other is on Netflix, Blood Red Sky, a German film mostly in English. The film is well made and the script has many surprises about the woman and child that board an airplane to NY for a blood disorder. That disorder is revealed later. Her zombie being is kept in check by a drug. When the airplane is hijacked by terrorists, things start to go awry for everyone. But, like WWZ, this zombie film makes it plausible because when the woman is in a zombie state, she goes in and out of being normal, and as the infection spreads to the terrorists via bites, she becomes the good zombie in order to save here child, which is normal. No real dull moments and a good back story with flashbacks.
