A hard, "No".They have the stylized religious wardrobe. Tons of choreographed hand-to-hand combat scenes. A concept that touches upon religious myths, demons, mysticism, and relics, but they spend almost no budget on CGI, or special effects on what could be incredible stuff in the right hands. 10 episodes could be done in 3.
And for why it is SO painful: 1. You are always being told that time is of the essence, hurry, hurry, time's almost out! Only to be followed with time consuming uninteresting long interpersonal scenes of dialog that contradict any supposed rush!
2. The lead is an annoying, rude, Hannah Montana meets Ryan Reynolds....notso good. Not the actor personally, I'm sure, but this unlikable tiresome character. Don't waste your time.
