TOPIC: Movie Review MOVIE NAME: Chhichhore RATING: 4/5 CHARACTERS: Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty, Prateik Babbar, Tushar Pamdey, Saharsh Shukla GENRE: Comedy/Romance PLOT: A teenage boy fights between life and death as he commits suicide, reason being not clearing the entrance exam. Amongst this his parents reunite with their college friends group after ages. They together travel back to their college days remembering their bittersweet moments, hoping that this will help their son come back to life, who has lost all hopes to live. REVIEW: According to me, this movie is really heart touching and is a very relevant film which gives an important message to the youth of today. The emotional drama, funny scenes, their friendship scenes and a surprise element in the climax keeps the audience engaged in the movie. But a few repetitive dialogues and scenes makes the movie a little boring. Coming to the roles, Sushant Singh Rajput has portrayed his character very nicely. Shraddha Kapoor looks beautiful in every frame. Varun Sharma will definitely make you laugh with his one liners. The other characters also have done their job well. Amalendu Chowdhary’s cinematography is on point and he has captured both the flashback and present frames very well. There are some really heartwarming flashback scenes which will make the viewers go aww. The songs has some very beautiful scenes. However, ‘Woh Din’ has won hearts of many people and stands apart from the rest. Overall, ‘Chhichhore' is an entertaining and a must watch film.
