I have been watching The Today Show since the days of Brian Gumble. I've never been a fan of Matt Lauer and I am glad he is gone. Who decided to make Craig Melvin a morning anchor replacing Hoda Kotbe while she is on family leave? His voice is so coarse and gravelly sounding like the voice of a smoker. Then the two anchors. The show should be entitled The Today Show with EITHER SAVANNAH GUTHRIE OR HODA KOTBE. There's rarely a week where they appear together - one is on vacation or taking the day off or ??? I realize that they are on assignment at times but geez. This is a message to Savannah - PLEASE STOP INTERRUPTING PEOPLE WHEN THERE IS A HEATED DISCUSSION OR INTERVIEW. I change channels. Then there is Jenna Bush who was hired only because she is the daughter of President Bush. Totally not fair and not deserved.Kathy Lee was great with Hoda and really, no one can replace Kathy Lee. Then there's the cooking segment. They rush this segment with only seconds to spare. Why even bother? Get rid of Pop Start with Carson Daly which has no purpose at all. I am switching to Good Morning America.
