You’d expect “rom coms” to be frivolous and predictable. While the idea of you might follow the structure of a rom com, what it does that many recent films in the genre have failed to do is establish these characters as people and not just love interests. Without even going into the commentary it makes on one of the many double standards women have to face in this so called “modern society”, the sheer chemistry and ease with which Anne and Nick share a frame is enough of a reason for ANYONE to watch this movie. This movie deserves so much love and recognition. I’d highly encourage watching it on Amazon Prime!
