This movie was so bad I came in with low expectations and was met with an even worse outcome. Will Smith is a good actor don’t get me wrong but he was by far not right for the role. His singing was not the greatest, the rapping was unnecessary but probably his best part. There are several scenes that are literally skipped to go faster and it looks so inhuman. No one moves that fast and it looks so wrong. The scene where Aladdin is called a street rat is very rushed the words that are spoken seam very random and out of place. The new dancing scene was a good additional piece probably the only good part of the movie...there are several icon scenes removed which was another disappointment. The genie wishing to be turned human was really dumb and also very awkwardly rushed and cringe when the girl was telling him how she wants their future to be precisely to the T. The movie was a grave disappointment. I love Disney but this movie really upset me. Robin Williams obviously did so much better and he deserved someone better to commemorate him by.
