I remember watching this when it first came out because I was a huge Once Upon a Time fan. I didn't realize then how tight the story is and how wonderfully the characters are acted because I was so caught up in the characters of Once Upon a Time, the original. Now that I am rewatching it without the original influencing me, I am surprised with how good it actually is! It is way better acted and written than the last few seasons of the original Once Upon a Time (which I'll still love just because I am a fan). So I would say, my fellow Once Upon a Timers, give this season another try. I can't believe how sucked in I am. I may even revisit this one more than the original (probably because I have a hard time watching the last few seasons of the original). But I am so happy to have something good to watch since I can't seem to find much worth watching these days (without all the smoot!!!!) Thank you, Disney+. P.S. I am sad it ended sooner than it probably needed to (some of the story's gaps could have been fixed if it was a bit longer, especially Will's since some viewers might not know his backstory), but I prefer a tight story over something dragged out just because the show is a crowd-pleaser.

A beautiful movie that leaves you wanting to refocus on the good side of people, to never give up on hope, and that people are worth loving and fighting for!

I am so glad I came across this romantic treasure. It has become one of my all-time favorite shows! The love, characters, relationships, and stories are so rich and long-lasting. I'm still thinking about it and want to revisit it again. Not only is the love story utterly addicting, but the main characters' kindness is inspiring and gives a little hope for humanity. Just a heads up: this show switches to chibi art style a lot, a little too much for my taste, especially with the story having such deep, emotional scenes. I found myself missing Sawako's natural face because she is chibi so much. It might be because her character is supposed to be seen as an outcast; however, I could have done with way less chibi or not at all.

I add to all the voices that this movie is epic!! Every scene is a work of art--in visual and acting. It tugs at your heartstrings and is relatable to all types of believers. It is a show that should be added to those shows that need to be experienced!

A new favorite! I loved this series. The stories were fantastic and a few completely ingenious. They could be deep without even seeming deep. If you weren't aware of the depth, you wouldn't know it was deep at all---for instance, the chalk drawing episode. Plus, I loved Ben Sandford's (not the racer) and Julie Lemieux's performances of Rupert. They captured his zest for life and wisdom.

An absolute delight! I love this series. And I especially love Melissa Alto's performance of Pippi. Spot on! And the show itself is unexpected and fun. I especially like how Pippi's character shows how you can enjoy all types of people--mean, nice, underprivileged, etc. It doesn't matter. She loves them all and loves life, which is contagious.

Um . . . I think maybe this was made for adults . . . ha ha . . . because I totally binged watched this. I was totally impressed with the storytelling of this series --- what excellent writing --- not to mention its humor and creative content, as well as some great acting (loved the cast; they did such an excellent job). I will most definitely be watching it again sometime in the future. Just be careful letting small children watch it since it seems to be geared towards a pre-teen crowd (or adults like me . . . ha ha . . .).

Such a sweet, wholesome show. It is so nice to come across a well-crafted show that doesn't bounce around like a roller coaster. Whenever I watch it, I come away feeling uplifted and wanting to go on a nature walk. Smaller children will love it.

Love this show! Chihayafuru brings such richness to character growth and leaves out all the unnecessary fluff that devalues a good show. I absolutely give it two thumbs up! I'm not much into competitive games, and this show is a bit heavy in that area, but by showing those playoffs, they could lay out character growth, which is refreshing. There are all kinds of growth going on in this series---character growth, relationship growth, sport/success growth. It does empower you to want to be the best at what you are passionate about. Nice job! Great stuff! Please keep it coming. I can't wait until season 4! And can I just say, the little to no fanservice gives this series its long-lasting quality because it is focusing on the things that stick with people.

This story gives you hope in humanity! I loved it. I would highly recommend it. Not only is it one of the cleanest animes I've seen, but it also has great character development and a unique, warm story.
