This film was a waste of everyone's time: Idris Elba's and the audience's. It simply lacks the needed sense of depth a good chase/stalker/horror/thriller requires. Because we have such better versions of man vs animal CGI blockbusters, this film doesn't hold up (think; "The Revenant" and "Story of Pi").
