I don’t know what’s worse… the terribly acted and directed show or the fact that so many people think it was actually good.
It was not gory at all…what a joke. You’re trying to tell the story of a serial killer, do it properly or don’t do it at all. It should have been an R rated series and you should have shown the REAL gore of his horrific acts.
This seemed like a teen flick for sensitive petals.
Peter Evans did a good job but there’s definitely so many other actors that would have been much better. Gale Morgan is just one that springs to mind.
Niecy Nash’s acting was ATROCIOUS. I had to look away for most of her scenes from fear of cringing.
I got an eye ache from the amount of eye rolls I did during the 10 draggggeddd out episodes.
Why was so much of the story based on her and how she felt anyway? She was literally just the neighbour….she didn’t lose any family members.
Okay, maybe give her 1 episode but there was way too much emphasis on her feelings and her side… no one cares.
The whole series felt choppy and dragged out, but I have to say the last episode really was the cherry on top of a hot pile of steaming @&$;
Justifying a kill for a kill and using god as your justification is pretty much as low as you can go.
Even if that was the way it really went down.. it was depicted horribly.
We didn’t even get to see inside the acid container… or did I miss something??
What an absolute waste of my time. But I have to say, I’m actually more disappointed in all the positive comments.
It’s really made me lose a little bit more faith in humanity and the future of cinema.
If we all keep accepting this sub par sloppy excuse for a tv show then they’ll keep serving us the slop.
Netflix needs to stop hiring amateurs as directors and start them off as assistants so they can learn a thing or two from the old time pros.
I feel embarrassed for anyone who thinks this was a good show.
