Loved this book in fact am just reading it for a second time. It captures snapshots of British life from all walks of society and peoples’ views of our relationship with Europe. Set in Middle England, Birmingham the book explores the characters, friends and family of the protagonist Benjamin and their relationship with him, their families and their careers against the backdrop of a Britain on the cusp of change.
