Frances Christie

The sound recording quality in this movie was abysmal. I went with two friends, two of us came out thinking we needed to get our hearing checked. The third said she couldn’t understand much of what was said and put it down to the British accents. I am British so I could not excuse the muffled sound on that count. In fact, I thought I should take advantage of the low level murmur and being in a comfortable seat and close my eyes for a bit and just listen. When I opened my eyes, the scene was the same. I appreciated some of the framing of the scenes and the dreamy quality but would never recommend the movie to anyone. It is such a con, pretending to be something avant- garde and clever, but basically shoddy film making.
