Well, if one wanted to take Verne's book and give it the full wokeness treatment, one could not have done any better. Passpartout is black, Fix is now a female journalist and the dedicated French Communards are mostly black as well. This adaptation has nothing to do with the exciting novel that Jules Verne wrote and much, much more with the tenor of our times. Although the acting is passable, the pacing and action are soporific. Just do not waste your time with this
