Finally, a film in mainstream theatres that didn't make me want to immediately walk out. Excellent storytelling, characters, plot, production design, score, and history. Well worth seeing, though you won't get a mindless action thriller like most audiences are accustomed to nowadays, this is not John Wick. It a mythical tale requires that you pay attention. Thank god we're getting well made period/fantasy pieces again. I hope this film is an indicator of an uptick in quality cinema.
