Awful characters that were butchered, bad soundtrack, and mediocre fight scenes with one interesting one in the hallway. I get it's early Batman... but why is he so stupid? One batarang? Cape doesn't work well? Thwarted by bad Spanish? Why does he want to be "stealthy" then walk around in loud boots? Plus his cowl looks really bad. And the Bruce Wayne side doesn't even look like Bruce Wayne. Just an emo teen that didn't grow up- "you're not my father" line and all!! Catwoman was just meh. Not super interesting or who Catwoman actually is. She was a meh their but wasn't as sly or snarky. And her outfit? God why didn't this movie even try with the outfits. Gordon was probably the best character but really why was he solving everything and not THE GREATEST DETECTIVE... ugh The Riddler... oof I don't even want to call him that or talk about him. Why. Why not make him the actual Riddler? Why not give him good riddles that the audience couldn't solve before BATMAN? Now he's just a streamer with a dumb mask and a weird way of saying "no"... he was the biggest disappointment here yet the idea of a more evil, murdering Riddler is cool. Just not like this. Please never like this. Finally Alfred. Yeah just totally disregard him. He's Albert now, doesn't deserve the name of Alfred. Meh character that is really smart cus of his history. Actually pretty badass? NOPE! "Hey this weird killer is out and about killing rich people, oh well I'm just going to look at this weird metallic package and open it without any worry in the world." Why did ya nerf my boi like that? The Alfred opening the package scene is almost what did me in. Like... I've never- NEVER walked out of a movie before but I almost did with this one. I don't know why they wrote the characters so terribly. Probably my least favorite movie which is a shame cus it had potential. A fine watch, but not if you're a Batman fan.
