Just okay. A lot of corny, cringy lines and delivery of lines. Plot is okay - I get that romcoms are supposed to be a bit cringey and out there but … I haven’t cringed at a movie this much in so long. I’m so confused by all of the 5 star ratings, I guess people’s expectations for movies, especially romcoms, have lowered since we don’t get them as often these days?? No Hard Feelings with Jennifer Lawrence still stands as the best romcom this year.

I thought the movie was really good and the suspense throughout was 👌. For people not liking it, I think they are completely missing the point and part of, what I think, the plot addresses: people wanting/thinking/needing to know everything when we may not have any idea of what is going on at all… also being super reliant and codependent on technology. As for not knowing who was behind it all, again, I think that is kind of the point. Does the US government really tell us everything and if they do, the full truth? G.H. said it himself, confusion and the inability to communicate was phase 1. The ending, to me, made complete sense… the girl was obsessed with finishing Friends and at least she was the only one who got her answer LOL. A good watch if you love trying to figure things out along the way!
