When you are re-making a foreign movie in Hindi, its not easy to mould the plot, story, emotions and the actors in a desi way to make our Indian audience resonate with the characters and its story. This is where "Laal Singh Chaddha" has failed. I am watching this movie on Oct 2022 and had I not seen the much proclaimed "Laal Singh Chaddha", I'd have given it a pass without reviewing it. Not sure why this Hindi adaptation of movie "The Girl on the Train", with the same name, hasn't been discussed or why it didn't get its due recognition. I must say, on watching this movie, the desi adaptation seemed much better and relevant, relatable and believable than the "Laal Singh Chaddha" adaptation of the Forest Grump". The Girl on the Train (desi version) is well made and good to watch it when you are alone on a late night movie binge, you're sure going to like it. Pareeniti and the other actors were good and have done their part very well. Overall, its a nice well deserving thriller. Kudos to the team.
