Lunar Rose

This series is cute if you know nothing about the original story. Dont watch it if your hoping for that. Honestly they shouldn't of had to change the story. Sun Wukong has an amazing backstory so they didnt have to make a worse one. They really missed the mark on Wukong's personality to. I mean he is the monkey king and great sage equal to heaven, he is playful and tricky. Idk how I feel about the romance factor between tripitaka and Wukong that they are trying😥 I dont recognize any of the celestial characters or the demon characters. There were so many good characters to use, I'm still waiting to see if their a bull king, red son or six eared Macaque. Also the names were very british/Australian, it really doesnt fit. Who ever made this I feel didn't actually read journey to the west and just looked at a summary. Which is disappointing to a fan who was going for an accurate or even some what accurate series. However I do like the settings they chose to film and I like who they picked for sandy. Shes very cute and funny, reminds me of Luna lovegood.
