Watched this during the Merdeka - Malaysia Day period 🇲🇾 - Definitely a time to remember and ponder the meaning of the ultimate sacrifice made by our brothers and sisters as they fly the Jalur Gemilang. Great work to Adrian and everyone involved for presenting the Malaysian Batallion honourably and respectfully. In terms of the production, the pacing was good, audiowork sharp, and emotional journeying quite balanced. Perhaps to deepen the questions about right and wrong posited in the movie - a challenge to Adrian to explore the Somali perspective a little more sensitively. After all the Somali people were fighting for and in their homeland. There are after all no winners in war. If this movie is an indicative sign of Malaysian talent, then Malaysian audiences can look forward to more great productions in future.
