Hyperfixation Central

Good movie and definitely entertaining. This movie knew it could do romantic and sexual tension well and they utilized that in the amount of sexual scenes. This movie in general is so sensual in a way you dont see often. Also the way they showed Eric progressively dressing more and more flamboyant throughout the movie to show himself discovering his identity more, and then when he tries to be straight again with Maggie he dresses how he did in the beginning. I also liked the added commentary of the struggles of hookup culture for someone who wants a genuine relationship and love.

The plot is so nonsensical, most plot points go absolutely no where and the gay character is not depicted well at all. He is mainly just a gay best friend stereotype and his only plot line is about him hooking up with other guys. Which makes him extremely stupid since their is a murderer. And back in the 50ish (when the archie's comics where written) there was a stereotype that all gay people where horny animals, so yeah, the "representation" is terrible

This movie is so funny, the jokes are a bit more an the inappropriate side but I still laughed, even if it is bad, it was one of the few things that made me smile when I was suffering from PTSD

I grew up with this show and I loved it, I rewatched it on Netflix, and it's still really funny.
